Beautiful product, highly recommend for PIH however I have a mixed opinion on using it for PIE as it takes much longer to treat. The texture of my face used to be very bumpy, pimple-prone and rough. I started using it ever since April and my PIH and PIE have been fading very quickly, the texture of my skin has turned amazing and beautiful to the touch, one thing when using this product is that you must take into consideration that you may think it is not working, but it's in-fact just scars and darkness from pimples you have been getting normally.
For those expecting big changes, do not rely on Niacinamide just itself, use other products from the brand or other brands (I recommend within the The Ordinary eco-system as it makes it more safer to mix and combine). Also try kill off any oil-gland clogging foods and liquids such as milk, cheese, and much more and substitute it with something else such as oat milk and tofu.
For those if you that have not been able to use TO's Niacinamide w/Zinc, I suggest trying The Inkey List's Niacinamide. It doesn't contain Zinc like TO's. I don't know if it's the reason, but The Inkey formula worked better on my skin. Plus, in March of 2021 it's $5.99. So, not a great deal lost if you don't like it.
this product didn't really work for me. in my opinion, it's like one of those products that are good for people with no acne or acne scars but for the people that do have acne, it doesn't really work at all.
totally made me break out with cystic acne. such a shame, as i wanted to love the product and i know it does such good for other people.
I really want to love this serum but it just doesn’t work for me
whenever i put it on my skin, it will always flaking and pilling out of my skin
By the way: There's this everlasting myth you cannot combine Vitamin C and niacinimide in one routine, as "they cancel out each other"....
