Ectoin is a cyclic amino acid derivative obtained by special research and fermentation technology. It is found in highly halophilic bacteria in extreme environments and is a substance that plants in extreme environments rely on for survival. It can effectively restrain the surrounding water molecules, form a protective layer on the surface of the cell membrane, and fully protect the intracellular material.

Ector is widely used in various cosmetic formulations because of its moisturizing and repairing effects.
