This is soaked in a very light cream and feels amazing on my face. Unfortunately
it is absolutely drowning in awful fragrance. I believe I had a sample of a Garnier cream once that this smells identical to. I'm not usually sensitive to smells but bad/strong fragrance annoys me. This one gave me a headache. It was so strong, stank up the room, lingered all night. Eventually I had to rinse my face, and arms where I applied leftover essence, because I couldn't stand the fragrance anymore.
The one positive of this mask was when I removed it after about an hour my face was paler with absolutely no redness except acne. ALL my non-acne redness was gone, it was quite shocking actually, but also extremely temporary. I would not use this again because of the over-powering fragrance.
