This stuff is magic for me. It keeps my long, thin, extremely tangly hair from snagging and hurting. I use Aveeno apple cider vinegar shampoo (a stronger sulfate free shampoo with sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate) and it seems to adequately remove the silicones from this product-- I haven't noticed any buildup.
