多少為過量
BHT的負面資訊大多是來自於百分之百濃度的BHT，而且口服BHT才可能造成的人體的傷害，BHT主要作為食品的防腐劑及包裝材料，像是餅乾的包裝袋等，雖然服用高濃度的BHT可能會致癌，但是塗抹在皮膚上並不會造成敏感，因此在敏感性皮膚適用的產品中經常可以找到BHT，BHT在保養品及化妝品中的含量並不會有致癌的風險，它們在保養品的化妝品的濃度通常少於0.1%，BHT雖然會被皮膚吸收，但是並不會進入到血流裡，簡單地說，並不需要避免含有BHT的產品，這是在化妝品成分審核委員會(Cosmetic Ingredient Review Board)裡經過很多科學家和毒物專家證實的

在台灣買化妝品真的得處處小心...

怕东怕西，干脆什么都别用了呗~
还有人担心厂商会添加50%的BHT。。。
脑子有问题啊，防腐剂不要钱？如果添加过量造成大量使用者过敏，厂商才最倒霉好吧！再说进口品牌，原产国都会审查，你操什么心。。。
真不知道这人的脑回路是什么样的。。。
能不要就不要用....還是有安全上的疑慮，保養品每天擦每天都接觸....

It's the acronym for Butylated Hydroxy Toluene. It's a common synthetic antioxidant that's used as a preservative.
There is some controversy around BHT. It's not a new ingredient, it has been used both as a food and cosmetics additive since the 1970s. Plenty of studies tried to examine if it's a carcinogen or not. This Truth in Aging article details the situation and also writes that all these studies examine BHT when taken orally.
As for cosmetics, the CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) concluded that the amount of BHT used in cosmetic products is low (usually around 0.01-0.1%), it does not penetrate skin far enough to be absorbed into the bloodstream and it is safe to use in cosmetics.
